Missing and Lost
Previous  Top  Next

The maximum Lap Time has been split into 2 components, Missing and Lost.

The Missing Time is used to warn of vehicles not counting. If a vehicle does not count for the Missing Time, an optional announcement is made and the vehicle is marked Missing on the Race Screen.

The Lost Time is used to mark vehicles as no longer racing. If a vehicle does not count for the Lost Time, an optional announcement is made and the vehicle is marked Lost on the Race Screen. When the Race Duration is complete all vehicles marked Lost are finished, rather than allowed up to the Maximum Last Lap Time (from their last passing time) to complete the last lap.

It is suggested that Lost Time is set to the maximum race duration of the respective Race Type.

For Nitro racing in Finals the Lost Time should be set to the length of the A Final and the Missing Time should be set to a typical trackside recovery plus refuel or repair time.

For Electric racing in Finals the Lost Time should be set to the length of the A Final and the Missing Time should be set to 1.5 to 2 times a novice lap time.
